Forest Hill Physiotheray Clinic - Steve Lau

Steve Lau qualified as a physiotherapist in Hong Kong in 1980. He has extensive experience in orthopaedic rehabilitation including shoulder, hip, knee joint replacement, neurological, and cardiothoracic rehabilitation.

He finished his first postgraduate training in Cardiothoracic Intensive Care in Sheffield, the United Kingdom in 1984, before attaining his postgraduate qualification in spinal manipulation in 1987.  He was the Department Manager of the Physiotherapy Service of a major hospital in Hong Kong with the scope of service focused on Cardiothoracic and Orthopaedic rehabilitation from 1987 to 1995.

Steve moved to Melbourne in 1995, and was a senior physiotherapist at the Alfred Hospital until 1996. With his strong interest and passion in managing musculoskeletal conditions, Steve established Forest Hill Physiotherapy and Hydrotherapy Clinic in 1996, and has been providing quality personalised physiotherapy service to his clients since. 

Steve is also fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin. Outside of physiotherapy, Steve enjoys spending time with his family, running, and tinkering with machinery.
